In addition to direct signing, the PDFSign component can also be used to perform in-browser or remote signing. Prepare the PDF for signing in your application, then create the signature on another system, and finally combine the signature and prepared PDF to create a fully signed PDF. In-Browser signing is a core feature of PKI Agent and works seamlessly with Secure PDF.
Free Command-Line PDF Encryption
Secure PDF's powerful PDF encryption technology is available as a free command-line tool: PDF Password. This lightweight utility makes it easy to password-protect PDF documents locally, avoiding the need to upload your PDF data into an online platform.
PDF Password's simple command-line syntax enables easy PDF encryption on-demand as well as the ability to embed PDF protection in automated processes. The tool supports all standard PDF encryption and decryption algorithms, and so can be used to decrypt PDFs encrypted by other programs, and vice versa.
