Version Control supports Team Foundation Server 2013, Team Foundation Server 2015 and VSTS
Different versions of Team Foundation Server in the Provider dropdown in Version Control setup dialog is now combined into one
TFS 2017 can be connected successfully, however, it is not fully tested with this release of Toad
Version Control supports Git
Git is added to the provider list for configuring Version Control
Plugin supports SQL Server Management Studio 2016 and SQL Server Management Studio 2017
Plugin can be installed in SSMS 2016 and SSMS 2017 however there are issues on the following conditions:

Known issue #1: if Toad for SQL Server is installed into Program Files (x86) folder, the plugin cannot be installed successfully.
Solution #1:
1)     select a destination folder outside of Program Files (x86) to install Toad

2)     if Toad plugin menus are still not visible in SSMS, please refer to known issue #2

 Known issue #2: if UAC is enabled for the folder where SQL Server Manager Studio is installed, the plugin cannot be installed successfully.
 Solution #2:
1)     find InstallPlugins.bat from [ToadInstallDir]\Plugins\SqlServer\SSMS\

2)     right click the bat file and select “Run as administrator”

3)     verify Quest.ToadSSMSExtenion.pkgdef is created in %ProgramFiles(x86)%\Microsoft SQL Server\130\Tools\Binn\ManagementStudio\Extensions\ToadExteion\

4)     start SSMS

Plugin still supports SSMS 2012 and SSMS 2014, however there are following known issues:

Known issue #3: plugin is not installed correctly for SSMS 2014.
Solution #3:
1)     find Quest.ToadSSMSAddin.dll.config from %ProgramData%\Microsoft\MSEnvShared\AddIns

2)     if the folder doesn’t exit, refer to known issue #4

3)     edit Quest.ToadSSMSAddin.dll.config using Notepad or other text editor

4)     find Dell.ToadSSMSAddinCore in the file and replace it with Quest.ToadSSMSAddinCore

5)     save the file

6)     start SSMS 2014

Known issue #4: plugin cannot be loaded in SSMS 2012 and SSMS 2014 when the user doesn’t enough permission on %ProgramData%\Microsoft\MSEnvShared\AddIns.
Solution #4:
1)    find Quest.ToadSSMSAddin.AddIn and Quest.ToadSSMSAddin2012.AddIn in “C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\MSEnvShared\AddIns”

2)    edit Quest.ToadSSMSAddin.AddIn and Quest.ToadSSMSAddin2012.AddIn using Notepad or other text editor

3)    find <Assembly>C:\ProgramData\Application Data\Microsoft\MSEnvShared\AddIns\Quest.ToadSSMSAddin.dll</Assembly> or <Assembly>C:\ProgramData\Application Data\Microsoft\MSEnvShared\AddIns\Quest.ToadSSMSAddin2012.dll</Assembly> in the file content

4)    change it to <Assembly>C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\MSEnvShared\AddIns\Quest.ToadSSMSAddin.dll</Assembly> or <Assembly>C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data \Microsoft\MSEnvShared\AddIns\Quest.ToadSSMSAddin2012.dll</Assembly>

5)    save the file, continue on 6) to 9) for SSMS 2014, skip to 10) for SSMS 2012

6)    find Quest.ToadSSMSAddin.dll.config from C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\MSEnvShared\AddIns

7)    edit Quest.ToadSSMSAddin.dll.config using Notepad or other text editor

8)    find Dell.ToadSSMSAddinCore in the file and replace it with Quest.ToadSSMSAddinCore

9)    save the file

10)  start SSMS
