xSQL Bundle SqlServer v11.1.0.0
Builder is a tool that allows you to push schema changes from a central database to one or multiple client databases. Client databases might be disconnected from the central database, they could be running different version of SQL Server, they could be hosted on-premise or on Azure.
The end product of Builder is an executable package with the schema updates embedded in it. When the package runs on the client machines, it compares the database on the machine with a snapshot of the master database embedded in it, identifies schema differences between the two and synchronize them.
Builder is designed to run by users with little database experience. The package, that Builder generates, is self-contained, with no external dependencies other than the .NET framework. All resources that Builder needs to synchronize the client database are embedded in this package.
Compare and synchronize your databases in an instant
An intuitive user-interface, combined with a context-sensitive ribbon, provides easy access to all functions and operations.
A carefully-designed workspace stores all your data sources, credentials and other settings in one central place.
Comparison sessions, saved automatically in the workspace, allow you to redo the most frequent comparisons with just one click.
Safe script execution allow you to either commit all schema changes or roll them back entirely, never leaving the database partially updated.
Various logs and reports, such as the synchronization log and the database differences report, allow you to view the schema changes before updating your databases.
On-Premise and Azure Support
Compare on-premise SQL Server, from 2005 to 2019, and the latest Azure Databases
You can compare on-premise SQL Server databases, all editions from 2005 to 2019, and the latest Azure Databases, all in one interface.
When you compare different versions of SQL Server, objects, properties or features not supported by the target database are automatically excluded.
The synchronization script will always honor the version, edition and the compatibility level of the target database.
You can use traditional SQL Server and Windows Authentication or the new Azure-based Authentication with your databases.
You can fine-tune the operations via an abundance of comparison, scripting and execution options provided by the Schema Compare interface and the Schema Compare Command Line.
Tools to Get the Job Done
GUI, Command Line, Database Snapshots and more, Schema Compare provides you with the tools you need to get the job done
Use the user-interface to compare your databases, take a snapshot of the database schema, generate differences reports, all in a simple and intuitive package.
Use the command line to perform comparison and synchronization in batch files, or run them at a specific time.
Use the command line wizard to create or modify the configuration files of the command line utility.
Use our proprietary database snapshot to make of a copy of the database schema at a point in time and, if needed, use it to restore your database.
Use Schema Compare SDK (sold separately) to integrate the schema comparison into your own applications.
Fast, Simple and Intuitive
Compare data sets quickly and efficiently
An simple and intuitive interface, combined with a context-sensitive ribbon, provides easy access to all functions and operations.
A carefully-designed workspace stores data sources, credentials and other settings in one central place.
Comparison sessions, saved automatically in the workspace, allow you to rerun the most frequent comparisons with just one click.
Whether you compare a few rows or millions of them, Data Compare will handle any data size with ease.
Safe script execution, combined with variable batch size and transaction size, allows for an efficient and reliable data synchronization.
Color-coding data changes makes them easy to identify.
On-Premise and Azure Support
Compare on-premise SQL Servers and the latest Azure Databases
Compare on-premise SQL Server databases, all editions from 2000 to 2019, and the latest Azure Databases.
Use traditional SQL Server and Windows Authentication, or Azure Authentication with all your databases.
You can use database primary keys, constraints and indexes to map data rows with each other, or create custom keys in Data Compare when a suitable index doesn't exist.
You can map tables and views in an instant, using the default rules, or create custom rules and map them in any way you like.
Compare the whole data or just portion of it by specifying where clauses.
Use data options to control most of comparison features.
Tools to Get the Job Done
GUI, Command Line, to name a few, Data Compare provides the tools you need to get the job done
Use Data Compare to compare, script and synchronize your databases, generate differences reports, all interactively in a simple and intuitive interface.
Use the Data Compare Command Line to perform all the tasks the user-interface does and run them in batch files.
Use the Data Compare Command Line Wizard to manage the config files of the command line utility.
What is Documenter?
Document is a tool that allows you to generate comprehensive, uniform and easily navigable database documentation in HTML and compiled CHM format.
Documenter supports almost every database management system in existence today, such as SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, MySQL, Sybase ASE, Informix IDS, Teradata, SQLite a many more. It can run as a console application, useful for automating the process of generating documentation on schedules, or for integrating Documenter into your own development process.
There are plenty of other features that make Documenter an important tools for any DBA or developer. You can use it, for example, to edit extended properties on a live server. It can generate also database dependency graph and the primary/foreign key graphs, diagrams that are much easier to understand at a glance than a flat list of dependent objects.
