With Delphi, C++Builder and RAD Studio 10 Seattle, we provide support for building OS X applications that run on OS X 10.10 (Yosemite) or 10.9 (Mavericks). We also provide support for building applications that run on iOS 9 using the iOS 9 SDK, or on iOS 7, 8 and iOS 9 using the iOS 8 SDK.

This PAServer Hotfix provides fixes for:
- building OS X 10.11 (El Capitan) applications with Delphi, C++Builder and RAD Studio 10 Seattle
- building iOS applications that run on iOS 7, iOS 8 and iOS 9 using the iOS 9 SDK with Delphi, C++Builder and RAD Studio 10 Seattle


Install instructions:

a. paserver and burly.dylib must be copied to your Mac computer. You can copy them to your Users download directory (~/Downloads).
b. Once these files are copied to your Mac computer, run the following commands via the Terminal. You can open the Terminal by going to Applications and selecting Utilities.

You will need to replace two files in your existing 17.0 PAServer install for Delphi, C++Builder and RAD Studio 10 Seattle and provide the proper permissions as detailed in the steps below:

Assuming the files are in your users download directory (~/Downloads):
c. sudo mv /Applications/PAServer-17.0.app/Contents/MacOS/burly.dylib /Applications/PAServer-17.0.app/Contents/MacOS/burly.dylib.bak
sudo mv /Applications/PAServer-17.0.app/Contents/MacOS/paserver /Applications/PAServer-17.0.app/Contents/MacOS/paserver.bak

d. sudo cp ~/Downloads/burly.dylib /Applications/PAServer-17.0.app/Contents/MacOS
sudo cp ~/Downloads/paserver /Applications/PAServer-17.0.app/Contents/MacOS

e. sudo chown root /Applications/PAServer-17.0.app/Contents/MacOS/burly.dylib
sudo chown root /Applications/PAServer-17.0.app/Contents/MacOS/paserver

f. sudo chgrp wheel /Applications/PAServer-17.0.app/Contents/MacOS/burly.dylib
sudo chgrp wheel /Applications/PAServer-17.0.app/Contents/MacOS/paserver

g. sudo chmod 755 /Applications/PAServer-17.0.app/Contents/MacOS/paserver
sudo chmod 644 /Applications/PAServer-17.0.app/Contents/MacOS/burly.dylib


Post Install instructions:

If you previously added iPhoneOS9.0.sdk, iPhoneSimulator9.0.sdk or MacOSX10.11.sdk SDKs via the IDE's Tools | Options menu, you will need to perform the following steps:

a. Open Windows Explorer, navigate to Libraries | Documents | Embarcadero | Studio | SDKs folder, and delete the above SDKs.
b. Close Windows Explorer

c. Launch the IDE
d Select Tools | Options | SDK Manager
e. Select and press "Update Local File Cache" on each of the above SDKs
f. Clean and rebuild all projects that use the above SDKs
