Regex Password Vault is a powerful and easy-to-use password manager and form filler for Microsoft Windows. Password Vault stores your logins in an encrypted file on your own computer. Store usernames, passwords, web addresses, security questions and answers, and more. You can even use it to store non-password info like PIN numbers and software product keys.

Thousands of individuals and businesses rely on Password Vault to store their most important passwords. Your data is encrypted using the industry-standard RSA and AES algorithms. There are no backdoors into the software. Password Vault locks when you aren't using it.

Forget typing in your usernames and passwords manually. You can log into any website or Windows application by clicking the browser toolbar button or typing the global keyboard shortcut.

Tired of repeatedly typing your address, phone number, email address, and credit card information? Now you can fill out checkout forms, payment forms, registration forms, and more without any typing.

Protect your identity by ditching unsafe password practices

With Regex Password Vault, you can eliminate your old password practices—like habitually reusing a few favorite passwords, writing your passwords down on paper, using weak, easy-to-remember passwords, and using passwords forever without changing them.

Regex Password Vault remembers your passwords for you, making it practical to use strong, unique passwords for all your accounts!

Long, random passwords are ideal because they are highly resistant to attack. A cryptographic random password generator is included to help you create strong passwords for all your accounts.

You can attach expiration dates to those passwords that need to be changed regularly. Then you will receive reminders when they are due to be changed.

AutoComplete toolbar buttons in your browser
We have added AutoComplete toolbar buttons to Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, and Google Chrome so you can fill passwords and identities directly from within your browser.

Improved user interface
We have worked hard to improve the functionality and appearance of the user interface. Dozens of improvements have been made. You can now choose from three attractive themes.

Improved notification area menu
The notification area (system tray) menu has received a makeover as well. Many useful commands have been added. You can now edit passwords directly from this menu.

Auto-save functionality
Your Vault file now automatically saves every 10 minutes, so you don't need to worry about manually saving. You can change the interval or disable auto-save altogether.

Selective AutoComplete
You can now AutoComplete just a portion of a webpage if desired. For example, if you want to fill only certain fields without other pre-filled fields being disturbed. Just use your mouse to select the fields you want filled, and Password Vault will AutoComplete only those fields.

Smarter backups
Old backups are now purged once they reach a certain age, which solves the problem of ever-growing numbers of backups taking up space on your hard drive. Also, the backup location is now per-computer, which will be very useful if you move the same Vault file between multiple computers.

New installer
The MSI-based installer has been replaced by a more reliable technology. Users should not experience installer corruption or other installer problems any longer.

Non-admin installs now supported
You now have the ability to install Password Vault under a standard (non-admin) Windows user account.

Bulk Vault file operations
You can now delete multiple items or change multiple sharing permissions in a single operation, which is a huge timesaver.

Concurrent editing can now be disabled
Multi-user concurrent editing can now be turned off. When turned off, the first user to open a Vault file can save changes. All subsequent users will be able to open the file in read-only mode (similar to how Microsoft Excel works). This behavior will be far less confusing for organizations that desire multi-user capability without needing concurrent editing.

Group policy editor added
Group policy is a tool for organizations who deploy Regex Password Vault to their users. It allows administrators to lock down certain settings so they can't be modified by their users.
