Embarcadero Technologies (recently acquired by IDERA), a leading provider of software solutions for application development, has released first update the 10.1 versions of RAD Studio, C++Builder and Delphi. Berlin Update 1 consists of new features, enhancements and bug fixes. In March, Embarcadero announced its strategy to focus product and engineering resources exclusively on the developer tools market. The 10.1 Berlin release, which is being launched globally today at a live event in Berlin, Germany, embodies this strategy shift.

Embarcadero® Delphi 10.1 Berlin Starter is a great way to get started building high-performance Delphi apps for Windows. Delphi Starter includes a streamlined IDE, code editor, dynamically loadable custom Delphi 32-bit Microsoft ISAPI modules, integrated debugger, two-way visual designers to speed development, hundreds of visual components, and a limited commercial use license. Database components and drivers are not included.

This TscExcelExport component is an advanced, powerful but easy to use component which enables you to export all records of a dataset from Borland/Codegear/Embarcadero Delphi to Microsoft Excel. Many features are provided to change the layout, use conditional formatting, to add totals, to create groups, to set a filter, ... The component works in Delphi 5, 6, 7, 2006, 2007, 2009, 2010, XE, XE2, XE3, XE4, XE5, XE6, XE7, XE8 and now also 10 Seattle and 10.1 Berlin (32 and 64 bit) and it supports all Excel versions from 97 to 2016.

ResizeKit is an ActiveX/VCL component that automatically changes the size of all controls and fonts so they will be displayed on any sized form. Full control is provided to customize the resizing process. Even if the user switches the size of the display while running an application, the ResizeKit will perceive the new size and automatically adjust the size of the components and fonts.
