Raudus is a web-framework and component set for Delphi and Lazarus, that allow create Rich Internet Applications (RIA). The development process is very similar to desktop applications development. Using Raudus you create both client-side and server-side at the same time. UI components are shown at client, event handlers are executed at server. Raudus is well suitable for database applications.

This software component contains a small-footprint Object Pascal (Delphi) XML implementation that allows to read and write XML documents. You basically only need one unit and you can simply add it to the "uses" clause. You can use this software to read XML documents from files, streams or strings. The load routine generates events that can be used to display load progress on the fly. You can also use it to create and save XML documents.

Developer Andrea Magni from Italy has released a free REST based TFDDataSetProvider for Delphi XE7 Firemonkey with LiveBindings support. What this component allows you to do is connect to a DataSnap server (or any REST+JSON enabled web service) and prototype the data at design time. This components works across all Firemonkey platforms which are Android, IOS, OSX, and Windows. The data from TFDDataSetProvider is loaded at design time by right clicking and selecting “Retrieve Data From Server”. The data gets loaded into a TFDMemTable in the client at design time and then via LiveBindings it is displayed for rapid prototyping in the controls that you bind to the TFDMemTable. With this component you can prototype apps that use REST services just like if it was using a local database. The component should also work with Appmethod.
