Aspire is built on the same platform as Vectric's VCarve Pro software, sharing the intuitive interface and ease of use for production design and routing. In addition to the powerful drawing and production routing tools of VCarve Pro, Aspire also has tools to let you transform 2D sketches, photos, drawing and digital artwork into detailed 3D relief models and then to calculate 3D Roughing and Finishing toolpaths to accurately cut these shapes.

HSMWorks allows you to maintain full associativity between the SolidWorks model and machining. Design changes in the CAD model get automatically updated in downstream data such as drawings and toolpaths.

Delcam launches the 2014 release of FeatureCAM feature-based CAM software. The release includes a number of new options for turning, four-axis rotary machining and turn-mill operations. Other enhancements in this release include more strategies for two-axis finishing and easier programming of probing sequences. FeatureCAM was the world’s first feature-based programming software when it was launched in 1995. Constant development since then has ensured that the system has retained its leadership in programming speed and ease of use, while an increased range of strategies has been added to provide more efficient toolpaths giving greater productivity on a wider range of machines.
