ZylSerialPort is a Delphi & C++Builder thread based serial port component. Use ZylSerialPort component to easily communicate with external devices on serial port connection, such as modems, bar code readers, GSM modules and others. It works in synchronous and asynchronous mode.

ZylIdleTimer is a Delphi & C++Builder event driven component which lets you to take actions after a specified system-wide (related to the whole system) or application (related only to the application) idle time or to check the time interval of user inactivity. System Idle time is the time interval of full user inactivity. In this interval any user action is missing on the computer, like pressing a key of the keyboard or moving the mouse or pressing a mouse button or rotating the scroll. Application Idle time is the time interval of user inactivity inside of one application. In this interval the user doesn't press a key of the keyboard or a mouse button inside of one window of the application.

ZylGSM is a Delphi & C++Builder component that communicates with a GSM modem or phone with integrated modem. This component works with AT (Hayes) compilant GSM modems connected to one of the serial ports. You can use it also with USB, IrDA and bluetooth devices, because these devices have a driver that redirects the input from the USB, IrDA or bluetooth port to a virtual serial port (you can check it in System/Device Manager/Modems).

ZylBurner is a CD, DVD and Bluray burner Delphi & C++Builder component. It is based on NeroCmd utility, so it needs Nero Burning ROM to be installed. This component is very easy to use, it's ideal for developers for quick CD and DVD writing purposes from Delphi or C++Builder. The component works in two modes: synchronous mode and asynchronous mode. In synchronous mode the operational functions (Burn, Erase, BurnImage, Eject) always wait for the end of the current operation and return a value which indicates if the operation was successful or not. In synchronous mode the return value of the operational functions is always 0, and the functions don't wait for the end of the current operation. You can use it to burn data CDs, DVDs and Blurays, audio CDs, video CDs, supervideo CDs and video DVDs.

ZylGPSReceiver is a Delphi & C++Builder component collection that communicates with a GPS receiver (Global Positioning System). It returns latitude, longitude, altitude, speed, course, heading and many other useful parameters of the current position and the parameters of the satellites in view. The component is extended to calculate distances and make conversions between different measurement units. This component works with any NMEA 0183 compilant GPS receiver connected to one of the serial ports. NMEA 0183 (or NMEA for short) is a combined electrical and data specification for communication between marine electronic devices such as echo sounder, sonars, Anemometer (winds speed and direction), gyrocompass, autopilot, GPS receivers and many other types of instruments. It has been defined by, and is controlled by, the US-based National Marine Electronics Association.
