The free Smooth Caret extension adds smooth caret movement animation for text editors in Visual Studio 2012/2013/2015/2017. It looks similar to the smooth typing feature in Microsoft Office 2013.

You can customize animation speed creating the HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Vlasov Studio\Smooth Caret\AnimationSpeed dword registry value (see AnimationSpeed.reg). Default value is 100 (decimal). Set it to 200 to increase speed 2x, set it to 50 to reduce speed 2x.
