Wing IDE Professional is a full-featured Python IDE designed for professional programmers. It includes powerful editor, code intelligence, refactoring, debugging, search, unit testing, project management, and revision control features. The Wing IDE layout is straightforward, with the editor window being its central fixture. Supporting panes, source browser, runtime output and debug panes and so on, are arranged on the periphery. In the lower right is the eminently useful Source Assistant pane, the Wing IDE's answer to call tips. Begin typing, say, a function call, and the prototype and docstrings information for the corresponding functions are displayed in the Source Assistant. Continue typing, and the likely matches are appropriately reduced. Also, when you click a function name anywhere in the editor (whether at a definition point or a reference point), the function's information is displayed in the Source Assistant. If you select a method, and that method has overridden a parent class method, the Source Assistant displays a clickable link for the location of the overridden method.

Show Comments - Comments are displayed in a mini HTML window which supports rendering Javadoc, Doxygen, and XMLdoc comments. When a symbol has multiple definitions or overloads, and multiple sets of comments, the comments will indicate that you are looking at item "". Click on the arrows or use Ctrl+PgUp and Ctrl+PgDn to cycle through the comment sets.
Completion on Space - Pressing the spacebar when List Members is displayed will insert the longest unique matching prefix from the symbols in the list. For example, if the list contains FLAG_CHAR and FLAG_LONG, then typing FL completes the line of code up to FLAG_.

Developer Andrea Magni from Italy has released a free REST based TFDDataSetProvider for Delphi XE7 Firemonkey with LiveBindings support. What this component allows you to do is connect to a DataSnap server (or any REST+JSON enabled web service) and prototype the data at design time. This components works across all Firemonkey platforms which are Android, IOS, OSX, and Windows. The data from TFDDataSetProvider is loaded at design time by right clicking and selecting “Retrieve Data From Server”. The data gets loaded into a TFDMemTable in the client at design time and then via LiveBindings it is displayed for rapid prototyping in the controls that you bind to the TFDMemTable. With this component you can prototype apps that use REST services just like if it was using a local database. The component should also work with Appmethod.
