This is the panel you need to improve your visual interface for your WinForm applications. It lets you create modern visual styles in your interface under all Windows versions. All default styles (Vista, Apple Aqua, XP, Office 2003 , 2007, Gradient, Fashion,...), default themes are supported (blue, olive, silver, royal, Black, Beige,...) and can be customized. The free Smooth Caret extension adds smooth caret movement animation for text editors in Visual Studio 2012/2013/2015/2017. It looks similar to the smooth typing feature in Microsoft Office 2013.

The free Sync Block Edit extension lets you easily update duplicate blocks of text in multiple files from Visual Studio 2012, 2013, 2015 and 2017. It performs multiline search and replace in Visual Studio with you only pointing what changes to propagate.

The free Fix File Encoding extension prevents Visual Studio 2017/2015/2013/2012 from adding BOM to UTF-8 files.

Normally, when you edit a UTF-8 file in Visual Studio, it adds the byte order mark (BOM) sequence 0xEF, 0xBB, 0xBF to the beginning of the file. Sometimes it confuses other applications further processing the file. You can select an encoding manually (File - Advanced Save Options... or File - Save As... - Save with Encoding...), but you need to do it each time you reopen the file.

The free Text Sharp extension lets you adjust text clarity in Visual Studio 2017, Visual Studio 2015, Visual Studio 2013 and Visual Studio 2012 IDEs (Professional, Premium, Ultimate and LightSwitch). You can select Aliased, Grayscale or ClearType text rendering mode for Visual Studio menu, tabs and editor windows. An easy way to turn off ClearType. (Aliased rendering looks terrible when text scale is changed from default 100% in text views, so Text Sharp doesn't override VS settings when Aliased+Display is selected and zoom level is not 100%.)
